The TP-Link RE450 AC1750

The TP-Link RE450 AC1750 is a dual-band Wi-Fi range extender designed to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and expand your existing wireless network coverage.

It offers dual-band AC1750 Wi-Fi, providing combined speeds of up to 1750 Mbps. This breaks down to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band (great for tasks like 4K streaming and online gaming) and 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band (better for general Browse and wider coverage).

With its three adjustable external antennas, the RE450 strengthens and extends your router’s Wi-Fi signal to those hard-to-reach areas in your home or office. It can reportedly extend coverage by up to 1,115 square meters (12,000 square feet).

The device also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, which allows you to connect wired devices (like smart TVs or gaming consoles) directly to your Wi-Fi network at fast speeds, or even to use the extender as an Access Point (AP) to create a new Wi-Fi hotspot.

Setting up the RE450 is easy thanks to its “RE” (Range Extender) button for one-touch setup with WPS-enabled routers. An intelligent signal indicator light helps you find the best spot for optimal Wi-Fi coverage. It’s universally compatible, working with any standard Wi-Fi router or wireless access point. You can also manage the extender easily using the TP-Link Tether app on your mobile device.
